Help us preserve the extraordinary by following these narrative standards.
The Narrative Tone
We look for stories that are honest, reflective, and hopeful. You don't need to be a professional writer, but we encourage you to write from the heart. Avoid "preachy" language; instead, focus on describing your experience and how it changed your perspective.
Structure Your Story
A great narrative usually follows three movements:
- The Challenge: What was the situation or "storm" you were facing?
- The Turning Point: Where did you see God's hand or a shift in the situation?
- The Resolution: How has your faith or life been impacted today?
Visual Standards
Every story needs an atmospheric cover image. Use high-quality photos (at least 1200px wide) that represent the "mood" of your story. Landscapes, quiet interiors, or nature shots work best. Please avoid blurry or low-light mobile photos.
Formatting Tips
Keep your paragraphs short (3-5 sentences) to make reading on mobile devices easier. Most stories in our library are between 500 and 1,200 words.
